QuanTEdu-France

Launched in 2023, the QuanTEdu-France project trains the next generation of quantum talent, from pre-university education through to the PhD level, to meet the growing needs of industry and to strengthen scientific and educational excellence in France.

Training the talents of tomorrow

Funded by the ANR “Skills and Professions of the Future” (CMA) programme under the “France 2030” investment plan, the QuanTEdu-France project aims to address the rapidly increasing demand for skills in the quantum sector. It targets undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from a wide range of disciplines, preparing them for careers in research, engineering, and innovation.

Initiatives at all levels

The project implements concrete actions to structure education in quantum technologies:

  • Pre-university awareness campaigns

  • Development of interdisciplinary university programs and cross-cutting modules

  • Creation of educational resources for continuing education

A national and collaborative approach

Relying on a network of 22 universities, education professionals, and industry stakeholders, the QuanTEdu-France project promotes interactions between education, research, and industry. This approach supports students’ professional integration and strengthens France’s competitiveness in the quantum sector.
