Université Sorbonne Paris Nord

A long-standing partner of Université Paris Cité within the Community of Universities and Institutions (COMUE UPSC), Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (USPN) is a key player in the inIdEx QuanTech@Paris project and leads the regional DIM QuanTiP network.

Its LPL laboratory (Laboratory of Laser Physics) investigates light–matter interactions, from fundamental quantum physics to photonic and biomedical applications. Its research, at the interface of chemistry, biology, and nanotechnology, directly contributes to the consortium’s progress across several scientific areas.

Inria Paris

A long-standing close partner of IRIF, Inria Paris collaborates through co-supervision of PhD students, joint projects, and shared teaching in the field of quantum information.

The institute has recognized expertise in post-quantum cryptography, cryptanalysis, and quantum error-correcting codes—skills that are essential and complementary to those of IRIF. Together, they contribute to advancing research on fault-tolerant quantum computing and developing new secure and high-performance approaches.

Secteur industriel

The laboratories of Université Paris Cité work closely with leading industrial partners, from large corporations to startups.

Historic partners include STMicroelectronics, Nokia Bell Labs, Orange and Exail. Joint projects are also carried out with French startups Pasqal et Alice & Bob, both European leaders in quantum computing.

IRIF is also working on the creation of a startup in quantum optimization (under the CNRS) and actively participates in the valorization of patents arising from research, thereby helping to bridge fundamental science and industrial innovation.
